Make Flag Cake

The perfect treat for any party on Memorial Day is a flag cake. This super easy flag cake is made from four simple ingredients. All you need are strawberries, blueberries, pound cake and cool whip. Start by covering the pound cake with cool whip. After the cake is completely covered, place blueberries in the top left corner in the shape of a square. Then place the cut strawberries in lines to make the red stripes of the flag. Then, sit back, relax, and enjoy your yummy cake! Find the recipe here.

Thank You Veterans

Spend your Memorial Day celebrating at a local parade. Look online to find a local parade in your area. It’s the perfect way to spend some time with family and friends. Pay tribute to all of the veterans who have served our country. You could also spend time at the cemetery and visit the graves of loved ones. Memorial Day is the perfect day to reminisce and remember our loved ones and those who served our country.

Weekend in the Woods

Get away from all your cares and spend a weekend camping with friends and family. Don’t forget to pack a tent, sleeping bags, food, fire wood, and some camping chairs. Sit around a warm fire and watch as the sun goes down. Make a yummy cobbler or even some s’mores. You could go canoeing on the river or plan a fun hike. Whatever you do, just remember to relax and have fun in the woods.
